We have a new friend, and boy is she cute! We are only two weeks apart!

Easter...

Soley's first Easter was a blast... I had such a good time doing all the commercial Easter treats and most of all the sharing the true meaning of Easter with Soley. I know that she is too little to really understand this year but someday she will understand the true meaning of Easter. This year things were really put into perspective for me. I can't even imagine how much God loves all of us, the love that I have for Soley is like nothing I have ever felt before and to know that God loves each and every one of us more then that is mind blowing to me. I am so thankful that Jesus paid it all for us, so that we can be washed as white as snow.

My first guitar lessons...

I love watching this video, Soley has had such a good time with Karalee and Nathan, we will be sad for them to go home tomorrow.

Soley has started babbling so much! Today she was talking out the window for a long time, it was so cute!

Just a quick post, Jon's cousin and her fiance are in town and I wanted to post a picture of Soley opening her gift from Karalee. It was so nice of them to think of her, and it was the cutest outfit!!!

So we had the pleasure of having Karen and Steve in town all last week, and boy was Soley happy. I don't think that she took her eyes off them the whole week! They played with her 24-7! It was also a nice break for Jon and I! We can't wait until they come back again. The morning they left Soley woke up and went looking for them all around the house, it was sad! But I told her they would be back for her Birthday party!

I am a horrible Sister in Law...

Ok so I am posting this because I am too embarrassed to actually call my SIL and tell her sorry! Ever since I had Soley I have been all over the place but this week I forgot to call her on her birthday!! Sam I am SO SO SO SORRY!!! Please forgive me... I just can't believe I did this!!! I wanted to say a few things about her as a birthday gift ( obviously belated )

1.) She is the best SIL anyone could ask for

2.) She never has said anything to me about being a crazy neurotic mom, even though I harassed her all the time.

3.) She will help you out with anything you need at anytime

4.) She is the first person I call when I need to talk about something (after my hubby of course)

5.) I am so thankful for her everyday

6.) She really is my best girl friend

9 Month Pictures are in...

I have to hand it to her, she is incredible! It also does help that she is shooting the most beautiful girl in the world. Thanks Amanda, I love them!

My New ROOM!!!

As you guys know Soley is not the best sleeper. So we decided to make her crib into a big bed, we had already purchased the conversion kit, so we just had to buy the mattress. Soley sleeps great in our room, but Jon is to loud and she wakes up very easy. For some reason she sleeps so well in a big bed. So we went ahead and converted her crib. With that being said her room was just teal and red now, because the bedding was only for the crib. I called the company and they do not just sell the fabric, so I had to do a little thinking and work, but I have to say I am pleased with how it all came out. Lucky for me Karen was in town to help out with the sewing machine! (I am pretty good, but she is really good!)

What we did... I took apart the crib skirt and sewed it onto the duvet to make a ruffle at the top and bottom ( One was put on upside down so that is would fold over to make the top and the other was put on underneath to act like an extension.) I also took apart the bumper pad to make pillows, and put a bumper on the headboard for decoration. Last I took apart the mobile to make the flowers on the head board.
