Christmas sneak peak...

I don't have my camera ready with all my christmas pictures, so I thought that I would show a little sneak peak! I know we went a little overboard, but who can blame me???  Anyways, these were her two big gifts, and I will follow up with a post from Christmas Day as soon as I pick up my camera from my grandmothers house! (left it there christmas morning)

Soley riding her Pink escalade up our street christmas morning! When we were all done opening gifts, Jon pulled this out front and she came running out saying, MY PINK CAR!!! Just like she was always supposed to have it!

Soley going down her Step 2 extreme Coaster! Last year we got her the smaller version of this, for your house and she loved it! I actually bought that one on craiglist for $40 and then sold it a few weeks ago for $50! So I could not find a used one on this one but got a steal on it! She will play with this for a few years, then I will almost make my money back on it too! As you can tell by her face at the end, she loves it!

Too bad the snow has come, we have not got these out again since christmas morning, but I know she really wants to do them again! I'm not worried because the snow does not last to long around here!  Off to clean up before the big game today! GO CATS!!!

Snow!!!

Yes we did get snow last night!!! Well Jon's half of the family would not really call it snow unless it was 3-5 ft! But I think we got about 3-5 inches here! Which is a ton for us Kentucky folk!!! Soley was so excited to make a frosty this morning! She graced us with her presence at 5:30 am, so by 8 we were out playing in the snow!

Christmas post to come...

Putting up the Christmas decorations!

It's been a while since we put these up but I forgot to blog about it! Soley had a blast putting these up this year! She loved putting up the stuff on the tree! We have done a few art Christmas projects to stay busy around here.  We made a gumdrop wreath, and a poster for our front door that reads, "happy birthday JESUS!" Christmas time is so much fun for Children and Adults! I can't tell you how excited I am for Soley to open her presents and See what Santa has left her.  I get so much joy out of seeing her excited! It's nothing that you can explain! I could not be more proud of this little girl! At Sunday School (children's church)  she knew the whole story of Jesus; birth when we were asking the kids questions, it was really neat to see her as a light to the other children!

Ballet, anything cuter?

I don't think that there is anything cuter then a little girl doing ballet! They just looks so sweet and innocent! The 3rd video was Soley's first time doing tap, I think she did good.  We were doing a trial class, and the only one they had available in the morning was a 3-4 year old class.  But she kept up good, and did great!

Make up & Ginger Bread Houses...

So sometimes it's fun to let our little ones go ALL out on something CRAZY and fun, like... MAKEUP! I was not allowed to wear make up until I was in the 10th grade, I'm not sure what Soley will be doing when she gets older but she always asks to play with my make up, and I usually let her just pretend but I decided one day to let her go at it, and boy did she have fun!

One of my good friends invited Soley to a Ginger Bread House Making PARTY! I can't tell you how cute she made it look! It was like something out of a magazine, Soley had a blast and her house looked amazing, I toady wanted to help her and make one too but I wanted her to do it all by her self! I think that she did so good! Sherri even made a lactose free icing for Soley so she could lick her fingers while making this! On a side note there was some green glitter icing that soley LOVED! (what girl does not love anything glitter :)  Some of it got on her face and I did not see it and by the time I wiped it off her face was all broken out, it's just crazy to me how sensitive her body is to dairy!

P.S.
Yes my blog is snowing! How cool :)

Santa round one!

Soley has been to see Santa two times this year already! I am sure there will be more to come! Hopefully she does not pick up on that they all look a little different!  We focus CHRISTmas around the birth of Jesus, but we also like to do Santa, because it's just so much fun!  This year Soley says that she wants a blue baby from Santa and a marble toy! As far as Christmas goes, we have been working really hard on the story of the birth of Jesus.  She knows where he was born, the city, Mary, Joseph, shepherds, three kings, angel etc.  She has memorized this for Christmas, "Jesus' birthday is on Christmas, and today a savior has been born.  He is the king of kings, the lord of lords and the great I am!" I will have to video it, it's pretty cute!  She also knows the first 5 days of Christmas. (12 days of Christmas song) Have a good night!

Best Friends!

Today our best friends moved to Orlando! We are missing them very much! I know they will be fine but we sure are going to miss hanging out with them almost everyday! We love you Steve, Ilana and Olivia! I took this picture this morning of the girls before they left for the plane! They have been inseparable since they were 7 months old!
