Gymnastics...

I wanted to follow up with some pictures from my post the other day.  Jon was able to come to gymnastics with us today so he got a little video of her!  I can't believe how much she has learned! I really think this is her sport! She has just learned to flip on the rings, she is learning it on the bar, it's called skin the cat.  They take their legs and pull them through their arms and land on their feet.  Too cute.

iphone...

So I mentioned in my last post that I no longer have a iphone, I was going to touch on that.  For a while now I have been feeling like I needed to make some changes in my life regarding how I spend my time.  I have been wanting to get rid of my iphone and our cable, but have never had the courage to actually do it! Well I really felt that God was telling me that this is what I need right now so I went ahead and did it! It's been a little rough with out t.v in our house, but we are making it! The first night that we were with our t.v me and Jon actually sat in bed and talked for 45 min before we feel asleep, I can't remember the last time that we did that.  We normal just watch sports center and fall asleep with the t.v on.  As far as the phone, it's been fine.  The only thing that I have really missed is the GPS, but we are making it just fine.  It's so nice to not feel like I need to check my email or do other junk on my phone that I don't need to be doing. I just have a plane old jane phone, no data, just text and talk, it's actually a GO phone! (the cheapest you can get)  I go so many places with Soley during the day when I see moms on there iphones while there kid is playing or trying to get their attention and I did not want to be one of those moms.  Now I know that this is not the right choice for everyone but it was for me right now.  I have the personality that can't really limit myself, so if I have it i'm going to be on it all the time, this way I don't have to worry about it.  Life is VERY short and I don't want to wast my time doing pointless things that can wait, God gave me the gift of a wonderful husband and the most perfect little girl in the world and I plan on soaking up every ounce of them every chance I can get.  Pray that I continue to stay strong and focused on God the way that I should, and I will do the same for you.  Goodnight!

Busy Busy...

Sometimes, time gets away from you! We were so busy getting ready for our two long vacations that I have gotten away from blogging! Oh well, here is goes...
For those of you that know us, or me, we like to stay busy! And that's what we have been doing! I have Soley enrolled in three classes, sounds like a bit much, but it's really not considering we stay at home all day and Jon works late hours a lot! We go to Ballet class, gymnastics and music all once a week.  It's all so much fun, I am sad a little bit as Soley gets older because when she is 3 I will not be able to do the classes with her, except for music.  I guess that's just how then get better and independent!

Ballet: Soley LOVES this class, she is doing so well.  Her teachers name is Mrs. Audra, and she is so so sweet and has more patience then anyone I know! Soley actually does VERY well, she listens and follows directions almost the entire class.  Right now they are practicing for there fall recital. I KNOW HOW CUTE!!!  I am just praying that she goes up on stage and does it! I have visions of here being that child that runs off the stage scared to death.  Soley is usually a pretty shy person but not in her classes, I think that she feels very comfortable and is able to open up.

Gymnastic:  I think that this is her favorite but it's hard to tell because she excels so well at the other classes.  Soley's gymnastics teacher is Mrs. Jill, and she is amazing! This time around there are only 3 people in the class including Soley and she has been doing it for over a year now so she really challenges Soley to do new and harder things.  Soley's latest trick is that she hangs onto the trapeze bar and swings while she brings her legs up and hangs on the bar upside down.  It's really cute!  I have to remind myself that she is only 2 because it's easy to get caught up into thinking they can do more bigger and harder tricks!

Music: Soley also LOVES this class, she is really into singing songs and doing hand motions and dances to go  along with them, and this is what this class is all about! Her teachers name is Mrs. Karen and she is super sweet!  They sing a hello song every week and a goodbye song.  They always have scarves, balls, parachute or other stuff.  They all get to play with a big tub of instruments and ride on the tub like a train, it's such a cute class!

In addition to this we like to go to open gyms, parks, zoo, science center, basically whatever we can do to stay buys.  We are debating adding a soccer class to our routine in the fall, don't know if she is the soccer type but thought it would be nice to try.  I know for sure she can play when she turns three, not sure about 2 year olds playing will probably be crazy, oh well!

My camera is broken and I no longer have a iphone, will post about all that next! Very exciting news for us! Have a good day! Soley has finished sleeping her 7.5 hours through the night so we are off to keep her busy! Oh what it would be like to have a sleeper! Oh well, she is so special!

Hilton Head

Too cute! I just loved it there! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Hilton Head

So after we returned form being gone to Canada for 17 days, we were home for a week and then went to Hilton Head with my parents! Sounds like a lot, but it al worked out perfect! I have a few picture to show you, i forgot my charger for my camera so I had to buy a new cord half way through the week, oh well.  For any one who has not been to Hilton Head I suggest to GO! It was wonderful!!! We rented a house on the beach, the second row.  It was 50 steps from the beach and had it's own pool it was amazing! The one thing we loved about Hilton Head is that you can Bike everywhere! We will hopefully be going back there next year with my brother and Sister in Law and there Kiddos two! (Depending on how Isaac (Due Late Nov) is at traveling.  Typically babies in our family are horrible travelers and we don't go out until they are 2!

Where have we been???

SO SORRY! I have not forgotten about this blog of mine, we have been out of town for a LONG time! We just got home late last night, around 11:30 p.m. to be precise!  We have had a blast being gone, but it is always good to come home!  Where have we been? Well... We went to Canada for 17 days to visit Jon's family and to attend Jon's Cousins wedding, Karalee!  We had such a awesome time, the weather was a little tricky, rained almost the whole time but thankfully not for the wedding!  But we still managed to have a awesome time! It's always very hard leaving Jon's parents, we love them so much, and Soley is so happy when she is with them!  I will post more pictures later, but when we were in Canada we went to a farm that turned out to be a blast, who would have thought a two year old would love zip lining! I only have the one video but just play repeat about 15 times and you will see what we went through she LOVED IT!
