Last night Soley's Skyped with all 4 grandparents!!! She is going to be such a computer whiz! RaRi was in Texas, Poppi was in Indiana, and Jammie and Grampa were in Canada, whoo what a night! These pictures below were taken the other day when we were talking to Steve and Karen. So much FUN. I love the second one Soley is eating a cracker and talking at the same time.

Ear pierced

So I know some of you are going to think this is super cute and some are not. But it's done and she looks beautiful! We have been going back and forth about getting her ears pierced, but I finally got up the courage to do it and got a health approval from our doctor so we did it! Soley actually only cried for 10 seconds, and that was because I had to hold her head still. She was such a good baby. There was two family around that were watching and afterwords they said they could not believe how well she did. They both said that they wished they had done their children that young because they did it older and it was such a pain. To tell you the honest truth, she has not made one peep about her ears. She has yet to grab them once, they were never red or swollen, and I clean them twice a day and she could care less. This is a quick picture of one of her ears I will get a better one soon. (these were taken that day so you can still see the ink where they marked them)

Guess what?

Yes that is right, she is crawling.. This video was taken a few days ago... Its crazy she can now make it across the room so fast! She is also taken about 5 steps on her own! She is going to be walking before we know it! She can't pull up on things yet only to her knees but if we stand her up she can take about 5 steps! Will post that next!

Update....

So I am a little behind on posting... Sorry. Jon has been super busy with work and so I have less down time. Any who... Soley weighed in at 17 pounds at her 9.5 month appointment, she is in the 60th percentile for height, 15th for head circumference, and 20th for weight. So I think she is going to be tall and skinny! She has both bottom teeth in and her top left is starting to come in, just swollen right now, but any day now. She is such a happy baby, she can say mama and dada, and It sounded like she said nan-na the other day when we were at the grocery store and i handed her the banana's, but she has yet to do that again, so probably a one time thing. Here are some pictures of her in some of her new outfits. I have to say I love BABY GAP!

POPPI

This picture was taken at my dad's deployment ceremony! I know Soley will be so excited when her Poppi gets back home next year! I LOVE YOU POPPI! (don't forget my pony you promised me!)

Long Time...

Sorry that I have not updated in a while, it's been crazy around here! Jon has not been home but to eat dinner and sleep, so I have been a single mommy for the last week. Here are a few pictures of Miss Soley over the week, enjoy!

Swim Class

I know some of you have been asking for a update on swim class. Soley is doing great, she loves the water and enjoys class every week. Here is my issue with photos... First I usually go by my self so that explains that... The other is that when my mom came with me the other week the camera fogs up so you can't really take pictures. (they keep the air at 90 degrees) (sounds hot but it's great!) So these are the best we could do with a cell phone and fog!

My first birthday party...

Soley's friend Rolfe turned 2 this weekend and she attended his birthday. She had so much fun with all the kids and playing with Rolf'e's wrapping paper. I can't wait for her birthday, I have already started planning, and we want all of you to attend so mark your calenders for her special day, works great that her birthday falls on a saturday this year! This is my save the date for June 11th, 2011!

Gymboree Play and Music Update...

We have continued to go to Gymboree every week. Soley just loves any kind of music or musical instruments, so you know she is going to love this. I was able to take a few pictures and a short video. I know they are not the best of pics/video but it's hard to do the class with her and use the camera. Hope you enjoy!
