Soley's Bags are packed!

Only three weeks to go :) Soley's Bags are packed, now I just need to work on mine.

Coming home outfit...

It might be a little much, but we don't want her to feel underdresses! The flower to the right is clipped to a headband :) We are looking for a black headband...

Dad hand made this for Soley, it turned out just perfect. The sides are made of baseball bats, and have scriptures engraved in them!

Clothes

My mom is coming over today to help me get Soley's Room together (it's Oak's day so everyone is off). So I washed all her clothes last night for the first time, I was so nervous that they were going to get all messed up! But they turned out just fine. Below is a picture off all her clothes being washed for the first time :) They are so little, it only took two loads for everything!

Car Seat & Stroller

Just wanted to show everyone Soley's new ride, thank you so much Josh, Sam, and Lilly kate! I could not get a good picture of the stroller, so here is what it looks like together! It's so CUTE!!!

Wall

I found a girl at one of my daycares that paints, so we hired her to write a scripture on the wall. She is still working on it, there is a flower in progress, but this gives you an idea. She also has to take out a line on the (a) in separate it looks like a (e). She did such a great job!!!

Soley's Room

We are not finished with her room, but this will give you an idea of what it looks like... Her daddy has worked so hard on her nursery!

Ultra Sound #2

We went to the doctor this week for our second ultra sound. Everything went perfect. They were checking to make sure her little heart was okay. We were able to get a little bit of a profile picture, it was so clear on the screen when we were looking at it, but when it's printed it's a little harder to see. I will attempt to post them, we will see if they show up :) Soley weighed in at one pound 7 ounces. She is getting bigger along with my belly!

Kicking

About two days ago, Soley kicked for the first time! I was not sure if I was right, so I called my friend Sherri who's little boy is about to turn 1 and asked her. She said it sounds just like it. Since then she has kicked many times each day. She is sitting very low, and the kicks are not that strong but last night Jon was able to feel her for the first time. Usually they are not strong enough and he can't feel anything, but last night I had him run over and feel because she was kicking pretty strong! He was able to feel 2 of them! I have to admit it freaked me out a little bit, but it is nice to be able to feel something so that you know she is doing all right in there.

Name

We have officially decided on a name...

Soley Jonae Harbridge

(Sole-e) (Jon-a)

We can't imagine her as anything else. We have been calling her that for about a week now, and decided last week that we would be going with it. We wanted to go with a name that was different and that you do not hear often. We had never heard this name before, it was actually a name my mom made up off of another name she had read. I say she is the only one with this name in the world, Jon thinks there is probably someone out there with it. All our family and friends have started calling her Soley, we just love it!

We found this at an outlet this weekend, on sale. It is actually a diaper bag, it has a pink changing pad inside! HOW CUTE!!!

THANKS, MOM!

This is all the new "things" that we have got the past few days! Girl stuff is so cute!!!

It's a GIRL!!!

We went to the doctor on Friday, and much to our surprise we found out we are having a girl! I couldn't be more excited, and Jon is super happy too! We also were able to see every little part of her body and know that everything looked perfect and was in working order. She weighs about 10 ounces, she is so tiny! Below are all the ultrasound pictures. We are still working on a name but should know soon.
Picture #1 (TOP) - This is the most adorable, perfect foot you will ever see :) The doctor told us to imagine looking through a glass table and her foot is pressed against it. Where it is bright white that is bone. You can see her foot bone and 5 toes :)

Picture # 2- (Middle)This is her stomach and bladder, we think???

Picture # 3 (Bottom) This is her little private parts, there are three little lines that let us know she is a GIRL! Doctor said it is very obvious!
Picture #1 (Top)- You can see her knees are bent and the bright white is her shin bones and her feet and toes.

Picture #2 ( Middle)- To the right is her head, and you can see her hand in the picture. You can see four fingers and her thumb is hiding behind her head. During the ultra sound the doctor actually rolled the ultrasound around my belly and we could see her thumb hiding behind her head.

Picture #3 (bottom)- This is a profile shot, you can see her head on the right, and she is making a fist by her chin.
These above are labeled on the picture for you, good luck making them out :)

We will go back for another ultrasound in 6 weeks. There was one thing with her heart that they were not able to see because of her position. We were actually able to see her heart beating and the four chambers. She was not able to see in detail where the blood flows into and out of the heart. She said not to worry :)
